AGE OF THE GODS: APOLLO POWER

About Age of Gods: Apollo Power

Like many Age of Gods slots, Playtech’s Age of Gods: Apollo Power is closely tied to one of the Greek Pantheon’s major deities - this time, it is Apollo, God of the Sun. Age of Gods: Apollo Power serves up fifty lines, double what appeared in the original Age of Gods slot. However, like that first game, it delivers the same four major progressive jackpot prizes that this series is widely known for. Having a crack at this game costs between 0.25 and 250.00 a spin, so you are getting a two-for-one deal on paylines here. The slot has a decent RTP rate of 96.47%, although its non-progressive prizes are worth substantially less than the original game in this series, at just 1,000x a line bet.

Special Features

Two wild symbols appear in the Age of Gods: Apollo Power slot. The first of these is the basic wild. The second is the “W” symbols, surrounded by a golden sun. Both can replace all standard paying icons, although the “W” wild symbol also serves another purpose. It can trigger a re-spin round. We will look at that in closer detail in a moment. First, let us talk about the jackpots.

Like all of Age of Gods’ progressive games, the jackpots are triggered at random here. Once the bonus begins, you will be greeted by a series of coins spanning a 4x5 grid. You will get to choose from them, and behind each one will be a jackpot symbol. You need to match three identical jackpot symbols to win that prize. Here is the good news - you are guaranteed to win one of the game’s progressive jackpots. However, you will stand a better chance of winning the top prizes if you wager larger sums.

Bonus Feature

Now, back to that re-spin round - it is triggered when the “W” wild appears on the screen. What follows is a walking wild re-spin feature. The wild symbol will move to the next real on each re-spin, leaving behind a trail of wilds in its wake. By the time the wild circles back to its starting position, you should have a screen with ample wilds splashed across it. This should help you win decent prizes. The longer the feature goes on, the more likely you are to come away with top prizes.
