About Deuces Wild Video Poker

This version of Deuces Wild Video poker is brought to us from Playtech. Playtech is a software developer that is World-renowned, and partners with many of the biggest brand online as well as land-based casinos. It offers the generally accepted maximum jackpot prize of 4000 coins, but it pays to bear in mind that this prize money can only be won when playing with a maximum wager.

Special Features

A video poker game has been set into a cartoon-like Wild West Backdrop, where a busty cow-girl, cards and cacti are the points of focus around the pay-tables. Play is both fast and smooth, and as this is a Deuces Wild version of this game, the Two or Deuce is the wild card, therefore winning hands start at Three of a Kind. These continue upwards in value through traditional poker hands, until the maximum prize can be won on a hand which makes up a Natural Royal Flush. A Natural Royal Flush is a made up of A-K-Q-J-10, of the same suit, and cannot contain a wild card.

Betting takes play across one to five coins. This can be set by the player by clicking the “Bet 1” button – one, two, three four of five times, or clicking the “Bet Max” button. We always play with a maximum bet to enjoy the best chance of winning, however, sometimes it is necessary to play with a smaller coin amount, and this Playtech version of Deuces Wild offers coin size range of between 0.10, and 5.00. A top wager costs 25.00. If players are not aiming to win the top prize, and just wish to play for fun, the 0.10 coin offers a nice easy game, other than that we like the 1.00 coin wager on a maximum bet. There is no auto-play feature, so the player must remain with the game at all times.

Bonus Features

Most of the Deuces Wild games we have played offer a gamble feature, and this one is no different. The nice thing about this gamble feature however, is it give the player a choice. They may either play to double their winnings, or play to double half of their winnings. This way if we lose we do not lose it all. The gamble feature triggers whenever the player has won, and as long as the player keeps winning, it may be played multiple times, doubling all or doubling half of the winnings.
