Precious Little Diamond Scratchie

Precious Little Diamond is one of a series of new games that we have seen come from Yggdrasil Gaming’s stable. This Swedish developer is certainly showing promise in the area of slots development, however this is not an online slots game. A whole series of scratch cards have hit the net, and we have been having some pretty good fun playing these. This is not a high-stakes scratchie like Sabbatical, the last game we reviewed, it offers €2500.00 as a top prize, and is quite a fun little game to play.

Special Features

There are up to seventeen ways to win the prize money in this small scratch card. The reason we call it small, is because only two winning numbers are features, while the player is given seven numbers to try and match these. Tickets are selected by RNG, from one million tickets available, and it is a game of pure random luck, with a theoretical return to player percentage of 96.0.

A coin size is fixed at €0.50, and auto-play may be activated for between ten and one-thousand turns. There is also the option to select different cards, even though we cannot see what numbers lie beneath their covers.

Each number is hidden behind a type of crystal or diamond-like façade if you like, and when the player clicks on the “Reveal All” button, this façade breaks away, revealing the hidden numbers. The aim of the game is to match the players’ numbers with the winning numbers, and hopefully win. Players may also click on each individual square if they wish to prolong the experience and see numbers revealed one-by-one.

When winning takes place, the player is invited to either “collect”, or take part in a gamble feature. This is a Heads or Tails game where double or nothing is the rule, and prize money can only be doubled three times. It pays to remember that if we guess wrongly, then we lose all our winnings too.

Bonus Features

Included in this scratchie are two bonus icons – the diamond after which the game is named, and this wins an instant prize of €2.00. It does not have to match with another icon to win. There is also a lucky four leafed clover which acts like a sort of wild symbol, and will match with all numbers. Often we find a free round icon in these games, but unfortunately not this time.
