YAHTZEE

About Yahtzee

Yahtzee is a WMS Gaming developed slot, and one which is based on the famous dice game of the same name. This slot machine also contains plenty of imagery not related to that game, though, including all the various food and drinks you might consume whilst having a night around the table playing Yahtzee. This slot itself offers up 5 reels and 25 paylines, with players able to select pre-determined wagers which range from 0.25 per spin, up to 100.00 per spin in all. Expect to win as much as 500x your total bet with this slot, and its non-progressive jackpot.

Special Features

Wild symbols only appear on the second, third, fourth and fifth reels in Yahtzee. When they do crop up, they can substitute for all symbols, save for other bonus icons. The slot also contains a Wild Multiplier Active feature which can add multipliers worth 2x up to 36x to each win you acquire using wild symbols. To get the multiplier, Yahtzee will roll twice dice together, bringing elements of the original game that little bit closer to home.

Yahtzee contains a Free Roll bonus, which can be triggered when players land 5 roll icons on the reels. These scatter icons can see players roll dice to land either a 4-of-a-kind or a 5-of-a-kind winning combination. This is a notoriously difficult bonus to trigger, though.

Rather annoyingly, there is no free spins bonus round present in this slot machine game. Even with the feature that this game has – and some of those are rather creative – one would really have appreciated a free spins bonus round. As such, though, there is not one present in the game, as we’ve said.

Bonus Feature

The proper Yahtzee Bonus feature is triggered by landing dice icons on the fifth reel. The more bonus symbols a player ends up with in this simple bonus, the greater the multiplier they will acquire. Players can then roll a dice, with the hope of landing a Yahtzee within 3 rolls. Players who land a Yahtzee on the first roll can win the First Roll Yahtzee Jackpot (4,500x your total bet), and if you roll a second Yahtzee, you will win the Back to Back Yahtzee Jackpot (40,000x your total bet). If you do not roll a Yahtzee, you will be taken to the Chance Bonus, which offers a considerably smaller instant cash prize.
