Wizard Of Oz Review

About Wizard Of Oz Slots

WMS Gaming has created this game which incorporates many of the sounds and sights of the original movie. As they have done with other games, WMS has adopted the online version of Wizard Of Oz from a Slot game which was first available at land-based gambling sites. The latest version they are offering is called “Wicked Riches” and it includes progressive jackpots and several bonus features. This slot game has 5 reels and 30 pay lines.

Special Features

In the new Wizard Of Oz-Wicked Riches version of the game, the emphasis is all on the sinister Wicked Witch Of The West, the most frightening figure in the movie. As you're playing, the familiar maniacal voice of the Witch narrates the action. Almost all of the symbols in the game feature pieces that are connected with her, including her hat, her broomstick, her hourglass, her castle and the object which destroys her in the movie, a bucket of water.

A Flying Monkey is the game's Wild symbol and if it lands on the middle reel, the Monkey will start flying around the board and randomly turn symbols into Wilds. There is also a Free Spins symbol which can give you as many as 8 free spins.

Object

There are many special opportunities to win in Wizard Of Oz-Wicked Riches. These include the “Tornado Bonus” which recalls a main feature of the movie. When this bonus is randomly triggered, you will see a scary tornado moving back and forth across the screen. There will then be four different progressive jackpots displayed-Kansas, Munchkinland, Haunted Forest and Emerald City. The tornado will eventually wipe away three of them and whichever jackpot is left on the screen is the one you win.

There is another prize offered in the Tornado Bonus round. After your jackpot is chosen, you will then have your choice of 8 barns, which all look like the one blown away in the movie. You will win whatever prize is in the barn you choose.

Bonus Game Features

The free bonus spins are launched when you get three of the Wicked Riches Bonus symbols. If the Wicked Witch appears during your eight free spins, all wins will be multiplied by a random number between 2 and 10. The free spins can be re-triggered. The Flying Monkey feature creating extra Wilds is also available during these spins.
