TROLL HUNTERS

Troll Hunters is a 5-reel video slot from Play'n GO with a 96% RTP and medium volatility. Its features include free spins, wilds and a bonus round, with bets from 0.2 to 40 per spin.

About Troll Hunters

The Troll Hunters slot combines elements of what appears to be the Game of Thrones, Dungeons and Dragons and others we are not presently able to identify. There are no win lines or reels as such, just a 5x5 system. Wins are made when players line up three or more icons at any place on the grid. Once these are correctly lined up, they pay out wins and then blow apart. The rest of the symbols on the grid will then fall, and in the process, frequently create new wins. The RTP is at 96.73%.

This medium to high variance slot is set in some forbidding mountain ranges, with a few somewhat menacing, mostly heavily-built and armed individuals standing to the right of the screen. These individuals are apparently troll hunting and are the main characters. The featured symbols include some jewellery, an appealing joint of meat, a helmet, shield, body armour, sword, and tankards of ale. The audio effects are some of the more extreme ones we’ve ever heard and primarily feature sounds one would typically be exposed to when perched atop a high mountain.

Gameplay is easy and straightforward. Bets range from 20c to £40, and an Autoplay mode is additionally supported. The most valuable symbol is the blonde-haired fighter, followed by the buxom lady with her hair in pigtails and a dark-haired, slight girl.

Special Features

This slot boasts a wild. It resembles a trio of golden triangles that are interlinked and is formed by wins. Should the player get, five of the wild symbols lined up, a win of 100x of the bet is guaranteed.

Bonus Feature

A bonus game is supported and is started when players clear away the words on the grid to reveal the word “Bonus.” It leads to a snowstorm and a white-out. Then, the previously mentioned troll makes an appearance and the game symbols appear to get frosted. A unique round with symbols that are all scatters is then unveiled to play. These scatters are good for wins once players hit five and more of them. Should a player, however, manage to land 10 of these, a 100x bet multiplier is up for grabs.

While it might look all shades of strange, Troll Hunters is an incredibly engaging, fascinating and rewarding slot. The graphics and audio are undoubtedly remarkable and overall this slot has the potential to become addictive and provide a high amount of fun.
