SUPER EIGHTIES

About The Super Eighties

Love it or hate it, The Eighties were an exciting time for many people. Net Entertainment have recreated some of the more stereotypical aspects of the 1980s with their Super Eighties slot. Admittedly, the Scandinavian online casino software developers seemed to have focused on the negative, with dodgy appliances appearing to be the main symbols here. The slot machine is one of their older releases, and thus features 5 reels and 40 very adjustable paylines (most NetEnt slots don’t allow you to tinker with paylines). Wagers will set you back at least 0.01 per line per spin, although if you adjust the betting levels and the value of your coins, you can actually bet as much as 80.00 per spin on this slot. Strike it lucky playing The Super Eighties, and you might walk away with a non-progressive jackpot which is capped at around 1,000 coins in total.

Special Features

Even this is one of their older games, players will find that Net Entertainment have included a stacked wild in this game. This stacked wild symbol can substitute for all other symbols barring scatters.

Scatter icons appear as a blonde with a funky haircut. She can trigger a free spins bonus round if she appears on the second, third and fourth reels consecutively during a single spin. A few scattered cash prizes will also be dished out to the player should this happen.

Bonus Feature

In total, players will start the bonus round with 5 free spins. Any prizes they pocket during this free spin bonus round will be doubled, courtesy of a 2x multiplier. It may not sound like much, but you must remember that this is one of NetEnt’s older slot machines (before they got adventurous with features) and the free spin feature can still be retriggered by landing more scatters on the reels whilst the bonus round is in session.

It may seem a little dated today, but there is still a decent amount of action to be had in The Super Eighties, especially if you like dated slots with themes of bygone eras.
