About Sunquest

Sunquest is a fruit themed video slot machine game from Microgaming. It is in many ways quite similar to a later release from them, known as Summertime. However, this is certainly the frontrunner to that slot. It contains a similar theme, but simpler graphics and features. Sunquest is played over a total of 5 reels and 9 paylines, and players are going to be able to alter those lines if they wish. They will also be able to select coin values of 0.25 up to 2.00, so this is not going to be a cheap slot to play. Expect to be able to wager anything from a floor of 0.25 per line per spin, up to a total of 18.00 per spin in all. If players strike it lucky in the Sunquest slot machine game, they may be able to walk away with a non-progressive jackpot which is capped at 10,000 coins in total. The golden sun disk symbol is the key to bagging that prize, and 5 are needed on a payline to do just that.

Special Features

Players can hope to win big with the golden sun disk symbols, but there are some other pretty important symbols in the Sunquest slot machine game, too. The wild symbol appears in the form of a sunset, and it can substitute for all other symbols barring scatter.

You won’t be able to miss the scatter icon, either. These symbols appear as galaxy-style fruit and multi-coloured symbols (yes, that is quite a meaty mouthful of a description, but there is no other way to explain the symbol). These symbols can offer you scattered wins no matter where they fall on the reels, and landing 3, 4 or 5 of them will see players pocket wins of 5x, 20x and 50x their total bet, respectively.

Bonus Feature

Unlike Summertime, and later summer themed, Microgaming developed slots, Sunquest doesn’t really offer any other features worthy of merit. There is no free spins bonus round worked into this slot’s design, there is no instant win bonus round, no stacked wilds, and not even a gamble feature. Most players are going to end up fairly disappointing with what Sunquest has to offer then; you know, unless they are specifically looking for an old-school slot machine game such as this.
