About Scrooge

Scrooge is a Microgaming developed title, whilst focuses on the lack of merriment at Christmas. Scrooge is based on A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, and contains your usual money icons, as well as the customary Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and To Come. Scrooge has been designed as a 5-reel 50 payline video slot, and will permit players to win up to 120,000 coins via its non-progressive jackpot.Scrooge is a fun game to play, especially if it happens to be Christmas time. There are several nifty special features which can lead to big wins.

Special Features

The big coin at the bottom of the screen will allow players to adjust their coin sizes to anything from 0.01 up to 1.00 in total. Up to 10 coins can be wagered per line, and given that all 50 paylines are adjustable, players can expect to be able to wager anything from 0.01 per line per spin, up to a whopping 500.00 per spin.

The Scrooge logo acts as this slot’s wild symbol. When it appears, it can replace all other icons the game, except the scatter symbol. Every time the player locates a day icon, one extra day will be added to the countdown calendar. If they locate a free spin symbol, it will add one extra free spin to the free spins counter.

In order to trigger the free spins bonus, players need to get the calendar up to December 25 (so 25 icons need to be collected). The free spins bonus in this slot will see players given the same number of free spins that appear in the free spins counter, and all winnings that are acquired during this bonus round are doubled.

Bonus Features

Scrooge also contains a Xmas Dinner bonus round, which is triggered via the scatter icon. Landing 3, 4 or 5 of these symbols will trigger said bonus round. Once the bonus game begins, players can choose a meal for each hungry character in the game. Only one of the characters will prove to be a winner, though. Players can win 6x their bet with the mince pies, 8x the bet with the Christmas dinner, 10x their bet with the ham, 15x the bet with the turkey, and a total of 20x their triggering bet with the Christmas pudding. The Xmas Dinner bonus round can also be triggered during the free spins bonus game.
