Roll Out the Barrels Video Slot by Rival: Review

About Roll Out the Barrels

Roll Out the Barrels is a German culture themed slot, although you may never have guessed it from the title alone. This Rival Gaming created video slot machine game features German attire, bratwurst and sauerkraut, pints of pilsner, tankards of ale, accordions, and plenty of other Oktoberfest style graphics. Roll Out the Barrels offers a 5-reel, 20-line gaming platform, with players able to choose however many paylines that they wish to play with. Coin denominations stem from a low of 0.01 up to a high of 0.25, and up to 10 coins per line can be wagered. Expect to be able to bet anything from 0.01 per line per spin, up to 50.00 per spin on this slot. Big wins aren’t really Roll Out the Barrels’ forte, standing at just 2,000 coins in all.

Special Features

Players hoping to get their hands on the 2,000-coin non-progressive jackpot will need to line up 5 of the jackpot paying symbols (the man symbol) on any active payline in the game.
Expanding wilds appear in the form of a barrel, and can expand whenever they form a part of a winning combination on the reels. Wilds only appear on the first, second, and third reels.
Free spin symbols appear as horns, and when 3 or more of these appear on the reels during the base game, a free spins bonus round will be triggered.

Bonus rounds

Players will start the free spins bonus in Roll Out the Barrels with 15, 25, or 50 free spins, depending on whether they land 3, 4 or 5 scatters on the reels. During the free spins bonus, players can land additional scatters to win more spins. Wilds offer 2x multipliers during the free spins bonus round.

During the free spins bonus, 3 or more free spin icons will trigger 15, 25, or 50 additional games in the Tap the Keg bonus. In this second stage of the free spins bonus, expanding wilds offer 3x multiplier.

It is also possible to land 3, 4, or 5 barmaid icons on the reels to land the Barmaid Bonus during the Tap the Keg bonus, as well as pocket 1x, 3x, and 25x your total bet in scattered wins, too. In this feature, players can choose from four kegs to pocket an instant win cash prize in this slot machine game.
