About Magic Gems

Magic Gems is another one of Leander Games’ very animated, 3D video slot titles. This one is set in an enchanted forest, and features plenty of high playing card icons, as well as shining, expensive gemstones. Magical, even, you might say. Magic Gems is a 5-reel, 40-payline slot, and one which offers gameplay from as little as 0.40 per spin. If you wish to flex your financial muscles, you can wager as much as 80.00 a spin on this slot. Players can win as much as 500 coins if they play their cards right, and have an eventful spin on this non-progressive video slot.

Special Features

The animated fairy to the right of the reels also appears as a symbol on them. She acts as a wild symbol. If she appears on the reels, she will substitute herself for all other icons needed by the player to win a payline. The exception to this rule is the bonus symbol, since she can’t replace that.

Any symbol which appears as part of a winning combination will explode after its winnings have been added to your tally. New symbols will then drop down from above to replace them. This process is known as the Exploding Chains feature, and is the main allure of the Magic Gems video slot.

The free spins icon on this slot is a treasure chest, and if it appears on the first, second, and third reels consecutively, then the player will trigger a free spins bonus round in Magic Gems.

Bonus Feature

This bonus round begins with the player obtaining a total of 10 free spins. That might not sound like much, but player should be aware that the Exploding Chains feature will remain active throughout the bonus. Also during the free spins bonus, Fairy Wild symbols become sticky, and will remain on the reels as long as the player is winning. If more wilds appear, you’ll end up with quite a lot on the reels at any one time. Once no more wins are possible, the wild symbols will disappear. Sticky wilds, coupled with the Exploding Chain feature should see you win fairly decent amounts when playing the free spins bonus in Magic Gems.

Originality is not at a high in this game. Nonetheless, the potential to win good money is there, and that is enough for many slot players.
