About Khepri

Khepri: The Eternal God is based on the Ancient Egyptian god of the same name, who survives the changing day into night, and is reborn the next morning. Unlike other Ancient Egyptian themed slots, this Leander Games slot has chosen to be quite specific in what it has focused on. This makes it rather unique. The game contains high playing card symbols and hieroglyphs on its reels, as well as other elements of Ancient Egyptian culture. The slot is a 5-reel, 243 ways to win game, and players are obviously not going to be able to control the number of lines they play with. All the same, minimum and maximum wagers in this slot stem from 0.30 per spin, up to 3.00 per spin. Up to 400 coins can be won via the game’s non-progressive jackpot.

Special Features

Khepri (the Scarab Beetle) is the wild icon in this slot, as well as its best paying symbol. When a wild appears on the reels, it can substitute itself for all other icons, without exception. This can often result in the player bagging a winning combination they wouldn’t normally land.

The slot also features a Wandering Wild. When a wild icon appears on the screen, it will move to a random position on the reels, and a re-spin will be granted. As long as a wild remains on the screen, the player will continue to bag consecutive re-spins. Once the wild has disappeared, or there are no more wilds, normal base game action resumes.

Bonus Feature

It isn’t really a bonus round, but this Khepri slot does contain a multiplier feature. Should two more wild icons appear in relatively the same position at the same time, then a multiplier will be granted. Multipliers will either double, or triple the amount you would normally win, when they are used to complete a winning payline.

Although there are 243 ways to win in this game, the slot really does suffer from a lack of special features. There are features in the game, but they in no way make up for the kinds of features you should be enjoying in a slot of this calibre. The jackpot is also quite petite, given what you could be wagering per spin. This is a real shame, because in all other areas, Khepri is a particular enjoyable video slot to get your hands on.
