About Kawaii Kitty

Kawaii means cuteness in Japanese and has become entrenched in the culture over many decades and especially in the modern era. Betsoft Gaming is capitalising on this trend as it influences the rest of the world and developed Kawaii Kitty, a five reel slot that contains three rows and just oozes charm. With bucket loads of cuteness it loses out in complexity as there are only ten fixed pay lines.

All the symbols have cute little smiling faces and include a carton of milk door with an adorable moustache, a hairbrush, some toys fish and a mouse, a bowtie, a bowl with the cat’s dinner and a tin of tuna. The carton of milk pays out 2500 coins when five of them appear on a pay line. Something you don’t see very often is that this slot will pay both ways. Five of the kind is indeed really lucky because it will then pay out twice!

Music is quite cheery and catchy which makes easy listening for the first hour or so. Graphical animations are smooth and each symbol is quite well detailed. Kawaii Kitty herself sits on the bottom right and cheers you on in different ways depending how you manage to score.

You can adjust things like the sound and how many credits you want to invest per line. You can even set up to 100 auto plays is with the related bets per line and coin values.

Special Features

The only special featuring the entire game is when the two balls of yarn on either reels two, three and four. It is what’s known as an expanding wild with a little animation of the two balls knitting out the word WILD down the reel. Immediately after that happens the pay lines are recalculated with the new wilds in place. After the total is calculated the wilds will remain for a single re-spin and you get a chance to grow your pot. Although it is possible to get multiple re-spins the chances are actually highly unlikely.

Any wins can be doubled up where it a simple game choosing between heads and tails. Thing we really do like is that you can bet only 50% if you like and keep going for as long as you like.

Bonus Feature

For a game with so much potential it is really let down by a lack of features that could have made it really awesome video slot. There are no free spins to keep the excitement going; no scatters to bring up unexpected surprises, even the prizes are just standard without any multiplier wins.
