About Joker Explosion

Joker Explosion is a fun-filled video slot, although not one of the most original titles we have ever seen. Designed and developed by Wazdan, there are many things about the wagering structure that is present, which will put players off. Some of the special features are quite okay, though. Joker Explosion is played over a total of 4-reels. Players will have a total of 5 paylines to win on. Speaking of winning, the most you can scoop in Joker Explosion is a top non-progressive jackpot worth 200,000 coins.

Special Features

The joker icon himself acts as Joker Explosion’s wild symbol. Should this symbol appear on any winning payline, then it will take the place of any symbol that you need it to be. The exception to this rule is the dynamite icon. Should a number of wilds appear at once and players don’t win, then those wilds will remain frozen for the next spin. This is a very nice feature, indeed.

The Joker isn’t the best paying icon in the game, though. That honour is reserved for the dynamite plunger. If you land 4 of these on the reels in this slot, you’ll pocket the top prize.

Bonus Feature

Joker Explosion is just another one of Wazdan’s many slots which is played over 4 reels, and not 5. This doesn’t really help you land free spins, but you can win bigger prizes more often, since you aren’t waiting for fifth symbol to appear.

Now, back to those free spins. This bonus is triggered by landing 3 or 4 of the scattered dynamite stick icons in any positions on the reels. For finding 3 such icons, you’ll be rewarded with 10 free games. If you locate all four of them, you’ll get 20 free spins to play with. No multipliers are added to the winnings in the free spins round, so that’s a bit of a shame. Fortunately, you can retrigger the free spins bonus, though.

Joker Explosion is pretty good fun, even if it does look rather simple. The added bonus being that players will sometimes wish they don’t win, so that they can have a re-spin with frozen wilds (and potentially more wilds). It’s a strange feeling, but you’ll get used to it.
