About Jewel of the Arts

IGT has recently released this new slot game which has an ancient Asian theme and which offers the possibility of a huge payoff. You can win as much as 250,000.00 playing Jewel of the Arts slots, since the free spins bonus round can go on for a very long time.

Jewel of the Arts features 5 reels and 20 pay lines and each spin can be played for as little as 0.01 or as much as 100.00.

Special Features

The game design of Jewel of the Arts certainly gives you a feel of an ancient Asian or “Oriental” world. The board resembles an old Japanese house. The colours you will see in the game include fuchsia, purple and gold. Even the Spin button has a distinctively exotic look to it.

The symbols in the game include several playing cards which are designed to look like wreaths of flowers, the type you might find in a Japanese garden. The other symbols in Jewel of the Arts slots include a samurai, an origami design, a fancy Asian fan as well as a village elder. There is also a bright gold Dragon which will remind you of the Chinese New Year celebrations.

The Wild symbol in the game is a Geisha Girl. She is wearing a red kimono while sporting a large and traditional beehive hairdo. Get five of this symbol on a line and you will win the jackpot of 1,000 coins.

The Scatter symbol in the game is the Fan Dance Logo. Get three of them on an active line and you will be taken to the bonus round.

Special Bonus Features

If you get enough of the Scatter symbols, you will win three free spins. These spins can be re-triggered indefinitely, or at least until you reach the maximum payout of 250,000 coins.

Each one of the bonus spins has a special feature which can increase your payoff dramatically. On the first free spin, the entire second reel becomes Wild. All you need to do is match up symbols from reels one and three to get a win.

For your second free spin, the payoff possibilities are even greater. Both the second and third reels will be locked as Wild. Even better is the third spin, in which the second, third and fourth reels are all locked with Wild symbols.
