About Chinese New Year

Play ‘n Go’s Chinese New Year slot has been designed using wonderful 3D graphics, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to imagine the theme of thee game. You may be surprised with the imagery which will appear on the reels of this video slot machine game, though. Chinese New Year contains animals, and plenty of them, instead of your stereotypical imagery, such as firecrackers, lanterns, and so on. The slot can run a little slowly on older machines (due to the impressive graphics), but features a total of 15 paylines spread over its 5 reel. Non-progressive in nature, the Chinese New Year slot can still see you win as much as 5,000 coins. Players can expect to get away with a minimum wager of just 0.15 per spin in this slot, whilst maximum wagers will set you back 18.75 per spin at most.

Special Features

In order to pocket the non-progressive jackpot on this slot, you will need to line up 5 tiger icons on any active payline. There doesn’t appear to be a wild symbol in this slot, although that is not exactly uncommon for Play ‘n Go slots. Instead, they try to offer you good value for money by having two bonus rounds worked into their design.

Bonus icons appear as dragons, and monkeys in this slot. The dragon icons only appear on the third, fourth, and fifth reels, but if you can land them on all three, you will trigger a Fireworks Bonus round. In this feature, players will get to shoot off fireworks to land multipliers. Once you find the dud firework which won’t ignite, the bonus ends. You could pocket as much as 150x your total bet with this feature.

Bonus Feature

A monkey is a very handy symbol to have in this slot. Land three monkeys on the first, second, and third reels of the game and you will trigger a free spins bonus round. Before the bonus round, players can pocket 5x their total bet as a scattered win. Once the bonus begins, players will be taken to a spinning wheel. There they can win a number of free spins. During the bonus itself, players can increase their winnings by landing pigs on the reels of the slot. This quite a nifty little bonus feature to play.
