About Golden Gorilla

The Golden Gorilla slot is a slightly animated video slot, brought to you by Rival Gaming. There is something slightly Aztec-style about this slot, which features wonderfully drawn characters which wouldn’t be out of place in a well-designed Disney movie. Golden Gorilla is a bit King Kong in how it has been designed, but don’t let that trouble you. This 5-reel 50-payline slot still has a lot to offer. You can choose coin values of 0.01 up to 0.25, and you can bet as many as 5 per line. Minimum and maximum wagers in the slot therefore vary from 0.01, up to 62.50 per spin. The slot offers you a 5,000 coin non-progressive jackpot in return.

Special Features

The purple gorilla is the wild icon in Golden Gorilla. This symbol is an expanding wild, which can occur on any reel in the game. It can substitute itself for all other symbols in the video slot, with the exception of the scatter icon. Wilds will also offer multipliers worth 2x the normal rate of pay in the base game. During a free spins bonus round, they can offer multipliers worth up to 3x their normal pay rate.

The aforementioned free spins bonus is triggered by landing 3, 4 or 5 free spin Golden Gorilla icons in any position on the reels. These will offer you a total of 15, 20 or 50 free spins, respectively. As we’ve said, this bonus offers wilds multipliers of 3x the value of your winnings.

A separate bonus icon (a dragon) is also present in this game. When that icon appears 3, 4 or 5 times in any position on the reels, bonus winnings of 1x, 5x, or 25x your total bet will be paid out. In this bonus round, players can also bag instant win, click and win cash prizes. It isn’t the most exhilarating bonus round, but it will certainly help you boost your bankroll.

Bonus Feature

Meanwhile, a Super Bonus Round has also been included into the Golden Gorilla video slot. If you manage to line up 3, 4 or 5 of the standard free spin icons in the bonus round (as opposed to the base game), then you will active a Super Bonus Round.

This is another free spins bonus game. It can offer you larger wins, and if truth be told, more frequent wins.
