About Gold Trophy 2

Gold Trophy 2 is Play ‘n Go’s sequel to their Gold Trophy golfing themed slot. In all honesty, Gold Trophy 2 isn’t actually that different from Gold Trophy. It contains a similar background, and similar symbols on the reels. Even its features are incredibly alike. Gold Trophy 2 does have marginally better graphics, though, and its wagering range is a bit greater than its predecessor. Players can choose to bet on 5 reels and 20 paylines, and they will also be able to adjust the number of lines, amount of coins, and value of those coins. At its cheapest, the Gold Trophy 2 slot is likely to cost you just 0.01 per line, per spin. If you are the kind of player who likes to wager sizeable chunks of cash, you can bet up to 25.00 a spin on this game. Yes, it is hardly going to bust the bank, is it? The slot contains a non-progressive jackpot worth 5,000 coins in all.

Special Features

The golden trophy is again the wild icon in this series of slots. It looks considerably sharper than its predecessor, though. The wild icon can replace all other symbols in the game, but not the scatter icon. It is also responsible for the non-progressive jackpot win, if you can land 5 on a payline.

The winner’s cheque makes a reappearance in Gold Trophy 2, too. Again it is a scatter icon, and can offer you scattered wins worth 2x, 5x, 20x, or 200x your total bet. Land 3 or more of those symbols on the reels, and you’ll also trigger a free spins bonus game.

Unlike the original Golf Trophy game, Play ‘n Go have decided not to add a gamble feature in this game. It hardly makes a difference, though. The first game’s gamble feature was basic, and didn’t really serve a purpose. You stood an equal chance of doubling or losing your cash. Its absence in this game is not lamented. In fact, you might argue that the slot is better for it being gone, since you are no longer tempted by it.

Bonus Feature

Gold Trophy 2’s free spins bonus is incredibly simplistic. You get a total of 15 free games to play with. On the plus side, you also get a 3x multiplier added to your all winnings. So, whatever you win, you’re going to be treated to triple that amount.
