DIGGING FOR DINOSAURS

About Digging for Dinosaurs

Digging for Dinosaurs is actually a rather different take on the whole dinosaur-themed slot genre
which always prove popular in the online casino world. Designed and developed by Saucify, the slot
offers 5 reels and just 9 paylines of paleontological symbols, includes ammonites, claws, fossilised
urchins, ferns and the ancestors of horseshoe crabs. Clever and creative, this simple slot will cost you
at least 0.01 per line per spin, although if you play with the maximum coin values, all 9 lines and the
maximum number of coins staked you can bet up to 11.25 per spin. Either way, this is not an
expensive slot to play, especially since you can win a non-progressive jackpot which is capped at
8,000 coins in all.

Special Features

Wild symbols make up the most prosperous symbols in the slot. They appear as Tyrannosaurus Rex
skulls, and they can not only deliver the non-progressive jackpot but can also replace any other
symbols in the game (barring scatters) and double the value of all winning combinations in which
they play a part.

Those scatters appear as the aforementioned claw symbols. These symbols can dish out scattered
cash prizes worth 2x, 20x or even 400x your total bet when 3, 4 or 5 of them appear anywhere on
the reels. The symbols can also offer “free drops” when 3 or more appear.

Bonus Feature

Players are ideally looking for Drop Zone symbols (scatters). Once the Drop Zone symbols appear on
the reels, the Drop Zone is activated. During this feature, all wins are tripled if they fall within a
highlighted section of the reels. This “avalanche” feature is somewhat short of those we usually
expect to find in such slots. For starters, there are no standard multipliers, and none of the symbols
are retained on the reels, as you would expect from such a feature. With the drop zone being a
rather small section of the gaming surface, wins don’t occur incredibly often, even with the 20, 45 or
60 free drops that the scatter icons provide.
