BOOK OF DARKNESS

About Book of Darkness

Like the title suggests, Book of Darkness is a sorcery/magic-themed slot from the stables of Bet-soft. But do not be scared, the only sorcery happening is on the reels with magical wins and exciting features.

The game comes with a 5 by 3 grid featuring 10 pay lines and some unique features such as wild and scatters symbols, expanding symbols, a free spins multiplier, and a bonus game.

The magic-themed slot also features a wagering limit that will allow just about anyone interested to spin the reels. Wagers start from as low as $0.10 and go up to $100.

The game can be played on multiple devices spanning mobile, tablet, and desktop systems.

Special Features

The game’s developers did a good job replicating the concept of the game with an interface that resonates with its theme. The reels are set in a dark cave with magic-themed symbols that fit into the overall concept.

The symbols used in the game fall into two value grids. The low-value grid consists of the usual playing card symbols while the high-value grid consists of symbols of red crystals, ceremonial daggers, enchanted rings, and purples elixirs as well as symbols of a book, wizard, and huntress.

Each time you form a matching combination of symbols on a pay line, you will win a prize in the game. The reward you get will depend on the value assigned to the symbols involved in the combo.

The game also includes a wild symbol which comes in the form of the book symbol. The book can take the place of other regular symbols (except the huntress and wizard symbols) to help you form winning combos in the game. The book also plays a bigger role in the game, doubling as the scatter symbol.

As the scatter symbol, the book is the key to activating the bonus round of the game.

Bonus Feature

To activate the bonus feature of the game, you will need to land three or more scatters on the reels. If you are lucky to do this, you will be ushered into the free spins round of the game where the number of free spins you get will depend on the number of scatters that activate the feature. While three scatters will reward you with ten free spins, four scatters will reward you with fifteen free spins and five scatters will reward you with twenty free spins.

During the free spins game, a symbol will be randomly chosen to serve as an expanding symbol. The occurrence of this symbol will increase your chances of landing winning combos since it expands to occupy the reels it shows up in.

Another bonus feature of the game is the Clash of Power feature which is activated when you land a combo of a huntress, book, and wizard symbols in a straight line. If you can pull this off, you will be rewarded with some free spins. What’s more, if you can guess correctly the winner of the clash, the book will trigger its power source known as the Shadowform. The Shadowform is yet another bonus round where you get ten free spins laced with x5 multipliers - if you chose the huntress and she emerged as the winner of the clash - or ten free spins laced with expanding symbols - if you chose the wizard and he emerged winner of the clash.
