About Black Ice

Realistic Games are behind the Black Ice slot. However, given that the software provider is a part of the Scientific Games stable, you can commonly find this slot at most major casinos. Black Ice is a bizarre game in that it falls somewhere between being a classic and a video slot. It certainly has elements of both. Much of the imagery on the reels of this game consists of jewels, with blue, orange, yellow, green, and purple gemstones, all with their own distinct shapes. You’ll also spot red heart rubies and crystal wilds. In terms of goodies, there isn’t much going on here. There are scarcely many paylines for you to bet on, wagers are affordable but won’t suit everyone, and the prizes are so-so at best. Here is everything you need to know about Realistic’s Black Ice slot…

Special Features

Firstly, there are ten paylines spanning the slot’s five reels. These paylines are fixed, and you can’t adjust them. You can, however, alter your bets. At its cheapest, the Black Ice slot can be played with stakes costing just 0.05 per spin. That’s essentially a half-price deal on paylines. The maximum stake in this slot is only 100.00 a spin, so it is hardly going to impress players who fancy splashing the cash on a high-roller slot.

The various coloured gemstones offer relatively basic payouts. This is not the type of slot game that is going to make you a millionaire. With conventional symbols, you’re looking at a win worth 6x your stake at most if you can land five red rubies on a line. The best paying symbol is the crystal wild. This symbol can substitute for all other icons in the game and doubles up as the best paying one. It can bestow wins worth 50x your stake if five appear in a line. There are no scatter symbols to speak of in Black Ice.

Bonus Feature

The only bonus round in this game is a sort of cascading reels feature. It occurs when there are eight wilds on the reels at once. During the bonus, any non-wild winning symbols that feature in a win will be transformed into wilds. A free spin will then be used to boost your odds of success by letting your take advantage of those wilds. As long as you keep winning, you can keep enjoying this feature. It can only end if the jackpot is won, or you fail to win.
