ALMIGHTY AZTEC

About Almighty Aztec

Spin Play Games are the developers behind the Almighty Aztec slot. Launched in September 2020, the game has been developed in collaboration with Microgaming and released on their Quickfire platform. The Almighty Aztec slot features a minimalistic 5 reels and 10 lines and has a wagering range that can cater to all sorts of players with a myriad of budgets and betting preferences. Expect a wager range of 0.10 up to 500.00 a spin on this medium volatile release, while non-progressive prizes are capped at 500x a stake. A decent RTP of 96.38% is another highlight to be mentioned here, but there are special features that can ramp up what you can win, too.

Special Features

Almighty Aztec features a Both Ways Pay payline structure. Much like NetEnt’s Starburst, wins can come from right to left combos, and the usual left to right formations. The game also uses Quetzalcoatl as a special symbol. He will add between one and three wilds on the three central reels, and he can expand to cover the full reel (or reels) he appears on. In theory, with the Both Ways Pay system and three wild reels in the middle, you are guaranteed to land multiple four-of-a-kind combos.

Naturally, there is a free spin bonus in the Almighty Aztec slot, too. This can occur when the third reel becomes wild. As such, there is no scatter icon present in the Almighty Aztec slot. This is useful, as too many special symbols can often see “junk icons” getting in the way of a decent win. The fewer symbols, the better.

Bonus Feature

Once triggered, the free spin bonus will give you between 5 and 12 free games to play with. Almighty Aztec’s bonus round will also see the third reel remain as a sticky wild throughout the feature. Of course, if you land Quetzalcoatl on the second to fourth reels, you can see those transform into wilds, too. These, too, can become sticky.

The free games feature does contain a scatter, and that shows up as the Mayan Calendar. It may look out of place in an Aztec slot, but do not worry too much about that. This symbol can be used to re-trigger the bonus round. Once more, you are looking at landing between five and twelve spins with the re-triggered mode.
