About Wild Heart
Wild Heart is another one of Slotland’s experimental games. They like to develop games featuring unusual gaming structures, and this one is a fine example of that. Wild Heart is a video poker game, and one which features a 5x3 grid, making there plenty of different opportunities for you to pocket wins. Wild Heart isn’t that cheap to play, with wagers costing at least 1 credit per game. The game is therefore not ideal for players who wish to operate on a budget. Graphically, Wild Heart is not much to write home about, either.
How to play
To begin with, players need to place a wager. As we’ve said, these are fixed. After clicking on the deal button, the player will be dealt a total of 15 cards (5 on each of the 3 rows we discussed). From there, they can opt to discard specific columns of cards (3 per column), by clicking on them. Any columns which are not discarded will be held.
After clicking on the draw button, new cards will then be added to the columns you chose to discard. These cards will not be the same as one another, so three separate hands will be present after the draw. Players will then pocket wins based on the ranking of those hands.
A wild card has also been incorporated into this game, and it takes the shape of a tiger. This wild card can substitute for all others in the game without exception.
Prizes
Players can pocket wins of 1x or 2x their total stake, for 2 Pairs or a 3 of a Kind hand. Players who land a Straight, a Flush, or a Full House, can win 3x, 4x, or 5x their total bet. Landing 4 of a Kind, or Straight Flushes can see players win 8x, or 25x their total bet. Players who pocket a 5 of a Kind, or Wild Royal Flush can win 50x, or 100x their total bet. Lastly, you can win up to 500x your total bet by landing a natural Royal Flush.
Final thoughts
What you have here is not a typical run of the mill video poker game, but one with a twist. It is not the most entertaining non-slot game ever developed, but it certainly should provide you with a decent spell of gameplay. The only downside is the non-adjustable wagering range.
