About Pyramid Joker Poker
Pyramid Joker Poker is a BetSoft game that has been tweaked to make it more exciting for players. Again, this innovative BetSoft design offers a win of 4200 coins which is slightly higher than most other versions of video poker.
Special Features
This game has been based on the Jacks or Better theme, however three pay-tables are in use. One for the first three cards, one for all five cards, and the third for the last three cards in play, which means it offers more opportunities to win. Bearing this in mind it has also been designed such that the first pay-table applies Jacks or Better rules, as does the third pay-table. The centre pay-table which includes on all five cards only starts winning if Kings or Better are dealt, which actually makes it harder to win.
In an additional tweak to the game, a Joker has been added into the mix, and the Joker is a wild card that substitutes for all other cards. This feature sorts of off-sets the fact that it is harder to win with at least as Kings or Better pair.
Various coin sizes are on offer, but to land the biggest prize, we need to place five coins on each pay-table. The coin bet rangecommences at 0.02, increasing to 0.05, 0.10 (default amount) then, 0.25, 0.50, and 1.00. Clicking the “Bet One” button activates additional coins to be allocated to each of the three pay-tables. Therefore if the maximum coin size is 1.00, the maximum bet will be 5.00. This amount needs to be place on all three of the pay-tables (or not – depending on the player), to offer the best chance of winning. But in particular that centre pay-table should be activated. A maximum bet is therefore 15.00, but can be a good deal lower if choosing a lower coin size.
Bonus Features
A gamble feature also applies to this game, as it more often than not does in video poker. Betsoft makes use of the same gamble feature in all of their Video Poker games. After a win, the player clicks the “Gamble” button if this is what they choose to do. Five cards are dealt face-down, the first is the dealers’ card – this turns face up. The player then choose a card, and hopefully nit is of a higher value than the dealers’ card. The player is able to double their money four times if they get lucky.
