About Pyramid Aces and Faces

Pyramid Aces and Faces is one of BetSoft Gaming’s most unique video poker games. It may initially appear to be quite complex, although with a bit of patience, you can pick up the game in no time at all. You can even win up to 4,200 coins in this video poker game.

How to play

After a bet has been made, players will be dealt a total of 5 cards into their hand. Since you are not playing against a dealer, all you have to do is simply construct the best hand you possibly can do to win.

After getting your initial 5 cards, you can opt which ones you wish to keep (using the hold button), and which ones you wish yourself rid of. After selecting your cards, new cards will replace the ones you have selected to discard. That hand will then be compared to the paytables above the hand to see if you have won. If you have won, you may choose to double up your winnings in a simple gamble game, but we wouldn’t advise it.

What you can win from the paytable depends on how much you have wagered. As you will have noticed, there are three paytables above the hand, so how do they work?

Wagering and prizes

What you stake determines how many of the paytables are open to you. Your default bet only activates the middle pay-table. Clicking on the “bet one” button once will activate the leftmost paytable as well as the central, one, whilst clicking “bet one” once more will activate all three paytables. Coin values range from 0.02 up to 1.00, and you can bet as many as 5 coins on each paytable.

Winning hands on the main paytable include Jacks or Better, Two Pairs, Three of a Kind, Straights, Flushes, and a Full House, Four 2s through 10s, Four Jacks, Queens or Kings, a Straight Flush, Four Aces and a Royal Flush. The side paytables can include wild cards, which mean it is possible to win with a Wild Royal Flush on those tables.

Final thoughts

Pyramid Aces and Faces is certainly one of the best video poker variants out there. Since you have so many different ways to bet, and so many different hands to win on. A word of warning, though, if you are not careful when wagering, this video poker game can cost you a significant amount.
