About Multi-Hand Jacks or Better

When it comes to online video poker, few games are as memorable as Jacks or Better. This is the default video poker for many players, after all. BetSoft Gaming’s Multi-Hand Jacks or Better game can be played with as many as 100 hands if you wish, and that makes it one hundred times more prosperous than the original.

How to play

As we’ve just said, you do have the option of wagering on up to 100 hands at once in this Jacks or Better video poker variant. That being said, you don’t have to. You can wager on 50, 25, 10 or even just 5 hands if you wish.

When you have chosen how many hands you wish to play with, you need to stake a bet. You’ll notice the big hand at the bottom of the screen, that’s your main hand. This hand will be filled with 5 cards after a bet, and you must decide which cards stay and which ones go. All cards which you hold will then appear in the other hands above your main hand. The dealer will offer new cards to each individual hand, giving you a number of potential winning hands. If you have any winning hands which match the pay-table on the sides of the screen, you will pocket wins for each of those hands.

Wagering and prizes

The amount you are entitled to bet depends entirely on how many hands you are playing with. You’ll still be able to bet up to 5 coins per hand, but the number of hands you have does affect the value of the coins you can play with. Generally speaking, bets of 0.10 up to 250.00 per game are possible in Multi-Hands Jacks or Better.

Since the game is called Jacks or Better, you know that the lowest paying hand is going to be a pair of Jacks or better. A Two Pair is worth more than that, and a Three of a Kind or Straight are worth greater sums still. The best paying in this video poker game are Flushes, Full Houses, Four of a Kind, Straight Flushes and Royal Flushes, though.

Final thoughts

If you love Jacks or Better than you are really going to want to get on-board with this game. The ability to play up to 100 hands of your favourite video poker title should not be missed.
