How to play

Jacks or Better is not played against a computer, or even against another dealer or player. Instead, you are required to take on your own mind, by simply building the best poker hand you can. The game gets its name from the fact that you are required to have a pair of Jacks or Better in your hand in order to win anything.

Players can select coin sizes from 1 to 5, in this game, which naturally puts minimum and maximum wagers at 1.00 per game at its cheapest, and 5.00 per hand at its most expensive.

Like all video poker games, the player will start out with 5 cards, and they must choose which ones they wish to keep, and which they wish to discard. They can then receive new cards for those they have discarded. In the end, players will have a final hand.

Hands and prizes

If that final hand matches one of those on the paytable above your hand, then you will pocket a win. Jacks or Better are worth the least, with prizes ranging from 1 to 5 coins, depending on how many coins you bet per hand. Two Pairs, 3 of a Kind, Straights, Flushes, a Full House, 4 of a Kind, and Straight Flush can see you win between 2 and 250 coins in all, again depending on how many coins you have played.

You will win a maximum prize of 250, 500, 750, 1,000, or 4,000 coins for landing a Royal Flush in your hand, with a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 coin stake, respectively.
