About Pirate 21 Blackjack

Pirate 21 is an engaging blackjack variation from Betsoft gaming. This variant of Blackjack allows players to place multiple stakes (stake up to three hands simultaneously) and comes with the option of placing a side bet – the Dealer Match Bonus, talk about a different experience from the one you are accustomed to. Unlike mainstream blackjack, the deck of cards you would find on Pirate 21 is slightly different. The deck of cards used on Pirate is called a Spanish deck. Gameplay starts after a player has placed his wager after which the dealer deals the game. The game is played with a set of 6 Pirate deck of cards. This deck of cards contain no tens, hence players accustomed to the traditional blackjack may find it a little bit uneasy at first however, as a compensation, the game’s developers added some really player friendly rules to the game. Aside these differences the game shares a number of similarities with traditional blackjack.

Like the traditional version of the game, the premise on which Pirate 21 is built is to get your hand as close to twenty one as possible. You bag a win if your hand is higher than that of the dealer without busting. However, the opposite is also true: you will lose the bet if the dealer beats you.

Just like in regular blackjack, if an ace and a picture card happen to be your first two cards, you get rewarded with a blackjack, however, unlike the traditional variant you get to win if your hand totals twenty one even without a blackjack.

Special Feature

Pirate 21 seems to have more profit prospects than regular blackjack. For example, whereas the regular game has a wager payout of 1:1 and a 3/2 payout for blackjack, Pirate features an amazing range of payout offers that applies to all wagers placed without additional requirements. Such as the need to play a side bet to qualify.

Bonus Feature

The bonus feature of Pirate 21 is a side bet called ‘the Dealer Match Bonus’.

If you are a fan of card games, then Pirate 21 is worth trying out. Once you are able to wrap your head around the uniqueness of this blackjack variation and the fact that you won’t be seeing any tens, you will find it worth playing.
