About Zuma

Zuma is of course based on the hugely successful online game of the same name. In that original game, you are required to get rid of moving coloured balls by shooting at them. In this slot version, you won’t be doing the same thing. Instead, you will need to get rid of identical icons by spinning reels. On the plus side, unlike the internet game, you can win real cash with this title. Zuma is played over 5 reels, with a total of 20 paylines present for you to win on. Zuma is one of Blueprint Gaming’s most successful titles – it is also quite cheap. Players can stake anything from 0.01 up to 25.00 per line, giving the slot a floor bet of just 0.01 per line, per spin; and at the same time a ceiling bet which is fixed at 500.00 per spin. If you’re playing on the maximum wager, you can win as much as 250,000 credits in this slot.

Special Features

Special icons are few and far between in Zuma. What this slot does carry though, should enable you to pick up some decent enough wins. The Zuma icon is the wild symbol, for instance. This wild symbol can replace all others in the game, barring bonus icons. It is also these same wilds that can see you win a non-progressive jackpot, if you line up 5 on any active payline. Should you win any winning combination via a wild, then you’ll have your winnings multiplied by up to 10x their normal rate of pay.

A gamble feature has also been incorporated into the Zuma slot. A player can choose to gamble their winnings after any spin. In this gamble game, they can pocket 2x, 4x, 5x or 10x the winnings, via a fun little side-game.

Bonus Feature

Zuma is equipped with a free spins bonus game, too. The bonus icon that we mentioned previously, is responsible for this feature. It takes the shape of a goblin looking critter. When three or more of these icons appear scattered in any positions on the reels, players will trigger the bonus.

The bonus consists of a free spins round. Players can shoot a tiki boss to determine how many free spins they will receive in this round. The free spins are then played out at the same stake, and with the same number of lines that the player had to trigger the bonus. After the free spins bonus, you can shoot another tiki boss to reveal a multiplier. This multiplier is then added to the total amount you win during the free spins bonus.
