YAKUZA

About Yakuza

Yakuza has been developed by one of the smaller casino software developers on the net – Fugaso. Fugaso stands for Future Gaming Solutions, and by and large, they are relatively unknown in the online casino world. Yakuza is, of course, based on the Japanese criminal gang of the same name. The slot tries to showcase a more classical element to the Yakuza gang, though, with symbols such as throwing stars, and gang bosses, as well as treasure hoards present on the reels of the game. Yakuza can see players met with a 5-reel, 20-line gaming format, with line bets stemming from 0.02 up to 5.00 per line, and all 20 lines adjustable. Wagers will ultimately stem from 0.02 per line per spin, up to a capped maximum bet of 100.00 per spin. Strike it lucky on the Yakuza slot and you could walk away with a non-progressive prize which is worth around 5,000 coins in all.

Special Features

To pocket the non-progressive jackpot in the Yakuza slot machine, players are going to need to land 5 of the wild symbols on any active line in the game. Wild symbols appear as the gang boss, and these symbols can substitute for all other icons in the game, barring scatters.

Scatter icons appear as golden dragons. The symbols can trigger a free spins bonus round and the Yakuza Bonus, when 3 or more appear anywhere on the reels. In theory, scatters can result in a 20,000-coin prize being paid out (worth more than the best-paying icons) although this is virtually impossible to land in our experience.

Bonus Feature

Three or more scatters will trigger the Yakuza Bonus (the aforementioned free spins bonus round). Players will start the feature with a total of 10 free games, no matter how many scatters they happened to locate on the reels. The feature can also be retriggered, offering up more decent wins. During the feature, the wild Yakuza boss can expand on all positions on the reels, and substitute for all symbols barring scatters. This can help you land decent wins in the free games bonus round.
