SUMO SHOWDOWN

About Sumo Showdown Slot

Sumo Showdown is a Japanese themed slot that draws inspiration from an ancient oriental sport – Sumo wrestling. However, instead of a battleground filled with gargantuan wrestlers, the battle happens on a reel set. The reel set is graced with gargantuan warriors as well as traditional oriental symbols. The slot is the brainchild of OneTouch, an innovative casino software developer known for its focus on mobile friendly offerings. Sumo Showdown is set on a 4 x 4 grid featuring ten pay-lines. The wagering limit range from 10 (with a coin value of 0.01) to a max bet of 100 (with a coin value of 10). The game is also loaded with a number of unique features, more of that in a bit.

Special Features

It’s hard to ignore the fact that the developers at OneTouch invested their energies in depicting the game in a vivid sense. Once the game loads, you take center stage and a crowd gathers to cheer on their favorites and get soaked in the brewing fun as you spin the reels and make matching combinations. Symbols used in the game include those with an oriental touch (such as sumo wrestlers, geisha and bonsai tree), as well as a mountain sign, a cup symbol and playing cards. The game’s wild is represented by a Sumo referee (otherwise known as a gyōji) dressed in green clothes and a black hat with a black fan in hand. The gyōji symbol can substitute any other symbol except the wrestlers. The wrestlers can only show up on the first and fourth reels and when this happens, a special feature is triggered known as the "Sumo Bout Re-spin". This special feature is a gateway to big wins as it pays times two of total bet. In the course of the spin, up to sixteen wilds may show up.

Bonus Feature

Besides the wilds and free spins features, Sumo showdown does not feature the regular symbols that have become ubiquitous in contemporary slots. So you are not going to find a bonus game or progressive jackpot, neither are there scatters.
