You could be accessing the “Rock Creature Multiplying Wild,” which adds a multiplier to the game board. You might also get “Scotty's Wild Reel,” which will make all symbols on two different reels go Wild. There is also the “Spock Multiplier,” which will increase your winnings somewhere between 3x and 10x. Then there is the “Fly-by” feature, which makes certain symbols more valuable.

Bonus Game Features

If you get at least three of the Scatter symbols, it will lead you to free spins in the “Red Alert” bonus game. If you manage to have a win during a free spin, then you will win a multiplier which will be determined as the Enterprise shoots at an enemy Klingon ship. When you don't win, your “Shield Meter,” which starts at 5, will move down by one.

Eventually, when your Meter is at zero, you will get a chance to pick either Channel A or B. If you pick the right one, you can keep playing, but if you pick the wrong one, the round is over.

Every time you reach the Red Alert bonus game, you will receive one medal. When your total reaches 50 medals, you will then advance to the next Star Trek game, which is “Episode 2-Explore New Worlds.”
