About Shining Crown
Shining Crown is an example of what happens when EGT turns a fruit machine into a video slot. In this instance, it is quite the fruit machine, although the link to the “shining crown” the title speaks of is not inherently clear. Shining Crown’s symbols are mostly fruit icons and they do appear stacked on the reels. The game itself is played over 5 reels and a total of just 10 paylines. Coin values are limited to 1.00, and players can turn on as many or as few of the paylines as they wish. Ultimately, your wager is going to range from a low of 1.00 per line, per spin, up to a total of 200.00 per spin.
Special Features
The only thematic icon in this slot is the crown itself, which acts as Shining Crown’s wild symbol. This wild icon can only appear on the second, third and fourth reels. It is capable of substituting itself for almost all of the other icons in the slot, though, but only those that appear on the same reel. It cannot replace scatters, either.
There are two scatters for you to enjoy. The first of these is the dollar sign. It can reward players with scatters wins of 5x, 10x or 100x their total bet, if 3, 4 or 5 of them appear anywhere on the reels. The second scatter is a star, and if it appears anywhere on the first, third and fifth reels, then the player will pocket 200 coins.
Like all EGT slots, there is a gamble feature. We’d strongly recommend that you avoid using this, since it only applies to wins worth less than 350 coins, and it is simple 50% chance game. You’re odds of landing successive wins aren’t high, certainly not any more so than losing whatever you just happened to have won.
Bonus Feature
Four progressive jackpots are there for the taking in Shining Crown. They are all triggered entirely at random. When this occurs, players are taken to the Jackpot Cards Mystery Bonus screen. A total of 12 cards appear on the screen and the player must pick cards until they match three of the same suit. Whatever suit you have matched will then pay you its respective progressive jackpot, which can often be between 20,000 coins and 350,000 coins. That’s not bad for what amounts to a cheap to play now, is it?
