RISING SAMURAI

Rising Samurai is a 5-reel, 25-payline video slot from Skywind with a 95.09% RTP and medium volatility. Its features include free spins, wilds, scatters, multipliers and free spins multipliers, with bets from 0.25 to 250 per spin.

About Rising Samurai

Rising Samurai is about as generic as you are going to find in a samurai-themed slot machine game. Skywind Group excels at producing Far Eastern themed slots, and that is exactly what you get with this game. Rising Samurai contains a lot of high playing card symbols and not so many thematic images. The game offers up just 25 paylines over its 5 reels, but players can win in both directions with those lines, so winning combos can be had from right to left across the lines, as well as the usual left to right. None of the lines can be adjusted, so players will find themselves wagering anything from a base minimum of 0.25 per spin up to a capped maximum stake of 2,500.00 per spin. Few players will feel like wagering that kind of money on what is a relatively unknown slot, even if it can offer a non-progressive jackpot which is worth around 7,500 coins in total.

Special Features

Players will note that wild symbols appear as samurai warrior masks. These symbols can only appear on the third reel but can replace any other symbols in the game, even scatters. They offer no cash value on their own.

Scatters appear as mountains – presumably Mount Fuji. These icons must appear on consecutive reels to be of any use, so in that regard, they aren’t true scatters. Landing 3 or more will trigger a total of 8 free spins. Players can also pocket scattered cash prizes worth 5x, 10x, or 50x their total bet for 3, 4 or 5 of these symbols.

Bonus Feature

The free spins bonus round is a relatively simple affair in the Rising Samurai slot. Players are given a total of 8 free spins. During those spins, a win can be multiplied depending on the number of wild symbols and geisha symbols which appear on the reels. Multipliers can make the difference between a so-so win and a particularly sizeable one, but it is hardly the most exciting to ever feature in a slot machine game. That coupled with the overly basic graphics and theme makes Rising Samurai one of the tamer Far Eastern themed slot machine games out there on the net.
