About Mystery Fruit

Mystery Fruit initially appears to be your basic, run-of-the-mill fruit machine game. The slot machine has been designed by Red Tiger Gaming, though and with all Red Tiger developed slots, nothing is quite as it seems. This slot machine game features just 20 lines spread over its 5 reels, with players able to wager anything from a floor of 0.20 per spin, up to a capped ceiling of 500.00 per spin. That’s standard fare for a fruit machine (even a video slot style one) if we’re being honest. If you strike it lucky with this glorified fruit machine, you could expect to be able to win a top non-progressive jackpot prize which is worth around 1,000x your total stake. There’s no arguments from us there.

Special Features

Mystery Fruit gets its name from the Mystery Fruit symbol. This golden (question mark) coloured apple can appear anywhere on the reels. When it does, it can transform in any other symbol in the game without exception. As you can imagine, that can result in something or nothing. Each mystery fruit symbol is allocates a random number of clones, too, though, which can spread across the reels and that almost always ensures some kind of win.

Bonus symbols appear as wheels of fortune. These icons can trigger a wheel bonus when one or more of the symbols appears anywhere on the reels. Unfortunately, this wheel bonus isn’t quite all it is cracked up to be.

Bonus Feature

The wheel bonus is about all you are going to get in this slot machine game. The list of special features which are present in the game aren’t vast, but the wheel bonus can at least dish out pretty sizeable wins. Given that there are no free spins, few instant win prizes and so on, we will take the wheel bonus. There are better fruit machines out there, and one which can offer you considerably more profitable bonuses, too.

Red Tiger Gaming have surprised everyone by making their Mystery Fruit slot more than we would have imagined. However, it still has some way to go if it is going to knock the other big fruit/video slot machine fusion games off their perch.
