Endorphina has taken their original classic Fresh Fruit and created a sequel. But for this sequel there is virtually no upgrade to gameplay and it is so mundane except for the vivid colouring and updated graphics. Admittedly, the fruit look polished and shiny with the animation of the reels spinning is slick and smooth.
The lower paying symbols are grapes, lemons, apples and strawberries. The middle levels are coconuts and watermelons. The higher levels are bells and a purple 7.
What is a little different is that the slot consists of five reels and four rows instead of the usual three. You can adjust the pay lines to bet on in increments of five right up to 40. Adjust the credit values from as little as $0.01 right up to $5. Here is where things get interesting: you can bet from one to 100 coins per line, multiply that by the maximum of 40 pay lines and a single maximum bet spin will set you back 4000 coins. Furthermore, if each coin is worth $5 then then the betting total comes up to a hefty $20,000! Even the high rollers would look twice before attempting that.
Special Features
The highly unoriginal wild is in silver letters on a black background and it gets to stand in for other symbols to make up pay lines. Although these wilds can appear generously on each reel, it doesn’t guarantee that you will be able to benefit from it as often as you would think. It will not substitute for the scatter as described next.
More Fresh Fruits has a pair of stars which acts as the scatter symbol. Having three of them appear anywhere on the reels will gain you 80 credits, four is 800 credits and five a whopping 20,000 credits.
This slot is very miserly in that it does not even offer any free spins which means you will have to pay for each and every spin. You could almost say Endorphina went the extra mile just to cut out all the frills.
Bonus Feature
The only marginally challenging task offered by More Fresh Fruits is a gamble feature in which each win can be gambled in a game of chance. If you win your amount is doubled. There is a playing card presented to you face up and you have to pick one of four that are face down. The trick is to guess which card will have a higher face value than the visible card. Our advice is to take the money and run if the Jack, Queen, King or Ace is showing as the chances of beating them are really slim. You can continue to gamble this amount multiple times but stopping point is not known.
