MEGA FORTUNE

About Mega Fortune

For a long time, Mega Fortune was the online video slot which held the record for the biggest ever progressive jackpot pay-out, at £13m. Even though it has lost that record since, the slot is still one of the ideal games to play if you fancy becoming a multi-millionaire. This NetEnt developed slot is based on the lifestyles of the rich and famous, and has spawned a sequel – Mega Fortune: Dreams. Mega Fortune is played over 5 reels and 25 paylines, and like we’ve said, it is a progressive jackpot slot. Wagers can be placed rather cheaply in this slot, with a minimum bet costing just 0.01 per line, per spin, and a maximum stake costing you no more than £50. The slot is also famed for paying millions of pounds with the lowest accepted wagers of any progressive slot in the online gambling world.

Special Features

Wilds do appear in the Mega Fortune slot, and they can replace all other symbols in the slot save for the scatter. Aside from that, they don’t really do that much for you.

Scatter icons appear as champagne bottles. These champagne symbols are certainly cause enough to celebrate, as they can see you trigger a free spins bonus round. During that bonus round, you could potentially win multipliers which range from 1x up to 5x the normal rate of pay. Players will also pocket multipliers against their total bet, merely by landing these symbols on the reels twice or more times in the first place.

Bonus Feature

The bonus feature in this slot is where you may – if fate allows – bag one of the three progressive jackpot the slot carries. Mega Fortune’s bonus is triggered when players land three bonus symbols in succession across the reels of the slot. They will also need to appear on the same payline. Players should be warned that this will not be easy to do. However, if you achieve it, you will be taken to a money wheel.

On that wheel are cash prizes, and arrows. The basic idea is to hit the arrows, as you will then progress to the next innermost wheel, and so on and so forth. The three progressive jackpots are hiding on the innermost reels. The Rapid Jackpot is the first up on the second reel, whilst the Major Jackpot lies on the third. Land the final arrow on that third reel and you’ll be taken to the centre, where the Mega Jackpot awaits. In the past, this jackpot has been known to pay out anything up to £13 million, so it is certainly worth a look.
