MATSURI

About Matsuri

Launched by Play ‘N Go, the Matsuri slot machine features a taste and flavour of Asia, with its delightful and thematic imagery and graphics. Underneath the bold Asian festival theme, Matsuri contains the same likeable and often repeated Play ‘N Go structure and menus we’ve seen for years. Players are ultimately looking at total bets which stretch from a base minimum of 0.25 per spin up to 100.00 per spin on this game, with a standard 25 paylines over its 5 reels. It is possible to walk away with a non-progressive jackpot prize worth 3,000x your total bet in the Matsuri slot, primarily via the Matsuri Festival feature. However, it is possible for players to win 4,000 coins if they can scrape together 5 wilds symbols on any payline in this Asian-themed slot.

Special Features

Let’s stay with that wild for a moment. Wild symbols appear as Chinese lanterns, and these symbols can not only dish out big winnings, but also substitute for any other symbols which appear in the game, barring scatters.

The scatters themselves appear as Matsuri masks. Landing 3 of these on the reels will trigger a Matsuri Festival bonus, although no scattered cash prizes are awarded to players for landing scatters on the reels of the game.

Goldfish icons are also important in this slot. When 3 of them appear anywhere on the reels, you will trigger the Kingyo Sukui bonus. In this feature, players can try and catch the fish with a paper spoon and will pocket instant win prizes worth up to 500x their total bet depending on how well they fare.

Bonus Feature

Back to the Matsuri Festival bonus. This feature, triggered via 3 scatters, offers players the chance to enjoy a total of 8 free spins. During the feature, every mask icon you manage to land on the reels will reward you with another 2 spins. The feature can be retriggered until players have had a total of 20 free spins. If a wild symbol lands on the reels during this feature, it will expand to occupy an entire reel. Banner wilds (as they are known) can then walk to the left of the reels, one reel per spin. This can bolster your chances of landing wins, with wilds once again able to replace all other symbols save for scatters.
