JEWEL RACE

About Jewel Race

Jewel Race is a cross between Bejeweled, and the hit selection of Cluster Pays slots which are highly fashionable right now in the online casino world. This title has been produced by Golden Hero, a relatively unknown provider of casino games. Players hoping for a bona fide slot gaming experience may be surprised with what they find in this game. Jewel Race features 6 columns and 6 rows of precious gemstone symbols, with prizes dished out not on paylines, but when a winning combo of 3 or more matching symbols appears horizontally or vertically on the screen. The lack of paylines means that you don’t have too much wiggle room with bets in the game. Instead, a straightforward betting screen can see you slap down stakes ranging from 0.20 up to 500.00 a pop. The most players can walk away with in this game is 250x their total bet, which is delivered when 6 pink gemstones appear in a winning combination. That seems about the industry standard for a slot with a return to player (RTP) rate of 96.95%.

Special Features

As with most Cluster Pays slots, there is a collapsible reel structure present in this game. Jewel Race can see any winning symbols removed from the game board, causing all the remaining symbols to drop down. New symbols will appear to fill the gaps between those symbols. In this manner, players may prosper from multiple wins on a single spin. In the event of consecutive wins in this manner, an increasing multiplier is applied to your winnings.

As mentioned, the most prosperous symbol is the pink gemstone, as it can deliver wins worth up to 250x your stake if it appears 6 times in a winning combo. Special symbols also make an appearance in this game, too. Wild symbols appear as multi-coloured square stones and can substitute for any other icons you need to land a win save for scatters. Those scatters can trigger free spins when they appear anywhere on the game board.

Bonus Feature

Players will start Jewel Race’s free spin bonus with 10, 15 or 20 free spins, depending on whether they landed 5, 6 or 7 scatters on the screen during a single spin. Players may notice stones appearing on the reels in place of gems. These can have their uses, too. Stones don’t form winning combos, but when no new wins are possible, they can transform into a scatter icon or a standard paying jewel symbol.
