About Jade Magician

Play ‘n Go’s Jade Magician slot machine is quite an impressive slot machine. It aims to take two of the more popular elements in online slots at the moment (dragons and magic) and combine them in a fantasy themed slot machine game. Jade Magician offers up a 5-reel structure, although there are only a paltry 15 paylines spread over those reels. That should be enough to win with, though, since special features are abundant. Jade Magician does permit players to select coin values of 0.01 up to 0.25 in all, whilst betting up to 5 coins per line. At its cheapest, the Jade Magician video slot will set players back just 0.01 per line per spin, whilst at its costliest you can expect to be wagering up to 18.75 per spin, which is nothing, really. Jade Magician carries a non-progressive jackpot which is fixed at 2,500 coins in total. To win that, players need to land 5 dragons on any active payline in the game.

Special Features

Players will notice that Jade Magician’s wild symbol appears as a dragon’s eye. This symbol can not only substitute for all other symbols save for bonus icons, it can also double the value of all wins in which it appears.

Players will be able to trigger a free spins bonus if they can land 3 of the Jade Magician symbols on the reels at any one time. This will trigger a free spins bonus round consisting of 5 free games. There is another way to trigger the bonus game, though.

Should players land just two scatters on the reels, they will trigger a Second Chance bonus round. In this feature, they can select one of four symbols which appear on the reels to potentially locate the final hidden scatter and trigger the bonus game.

Bonus Feature

Jade Magician’s free spins bonus round consists of 5 free games as we’ve said. However, during this bonus round, players can win addition goodies, such as an extra wild. The scatter becomes a wild symbol in this feature, and landing 3 of them on the reels will retrigger the feature. Landing just 1 or 2 symbols on the reels will see the pocket 1 or 2 free spins, respectively. The free spins bonus game in this slot is enjoyable, and with so many different ways to pocket wins, we can easily overlook the petite 15-payline structure in the game.
