Even so, you can still win a decent progressive jackpot on this slot machine game. Jackpot Crown features 5 reels and 5 paylines in all, none of which can be adjusted. Players can adjust their line bets, which range from 8p up to £20 a pop. This gives the Jackpot Crown slot a wagering range of 40p per spin, up to £100 per spin. That makes it a rather expensive slot, given what you get in return. That isn’t going to helps its chances of being a popular title, especially when there are so many other fruit machines out there from Novomatic, and others.
Special Features
You may wish to keep your eyes peeled for the jackpot icon. It takes the shape of a crown – as befitting a slot with this title. The crown symbol in this game can see you win the slot’s progressive jackpot when you land 5 such symbols anywhere on the reels.
A scatter icon also appears in the game, and it takes the shape of a star. When this symbol appears 3, 4 or 5 times anywhere on the reels, then you are guaranteed to win 200, 1,000, or 5,000 coins in all.
A petite gamble feature has also been included in this slot. Should players pocket any win on the reels, they can decide to gamble it. The exception to this rule is if they win the jackpot. Jackpots cannot be gambled. After a win, if the player chooses to gamble, they will be greeted by a simple gamble game. They stand a really small chance of success with this feature, though.
Bonus round
Curiously enough, Novomatic did not think it wise to incorporate a bonus round in this slot. That is really bad form. Given that the slot will set you back a minimum of 40p a pop, and that there are only 5 paylines, this is actually rather shocking. There are just too few features, and standard paying prizes are just too small in order to compensate for such a high wager. This is not going to please slot lovers.
