CLEOPATRA'S COINS

About Cleopatra’s Coins

Cleopatra’s Coins is an Ancient Egyptian themed video slot machine game, and one which is quite unlike many of the other similarly themed slots out there on the net. Rival Gaming have chosen to opt for a more traditional look to this slot, with various hieroglyphs forming the standard paying symbols on the reels, instead of the usual high-playing card icons. Cheesy and predictable imagery is at a minimum in this slot, with even Caesar and Mark Antony getting in on the action. Cleopatra’s Coins offers up a 5-reel, 15-line format, with players able to select coin values of 0.01 up to 1.00 in all. Up to 5 coins can be wagered per line, and lines are adjustable. Floor bets cost just 0.01 per line per spin in Cleopatra’s Coins, whilst ceiling bets are fixed at 75.00 a pop. Expect to be able to win as much as 5,000 coins by landing 5 wilds on a line in this slot machine game.

Special Features

The scarab beetle acts as a wild symbol in this slot machine game, and when it appears 5 times on a payline, the non-progressive jackpot is paid out. Wilds can substitute for all symbols in this slot machine game, save for scatters.

Scatters appear as Egyptian asps, and landing 3 or more of them anywhere on the reels is enough to trigger a free spins bonus round. There are no scattered cash prizes paid out for this symbol, although the sphinx and pyramid symbol can act as a basic scatter-paying symbol.

A secondary bonus round can also be triggered if players able to pocket 3 coins on the reels during the base game. This bonus is considerably poorer in quality than the free spins feature.

Bonus Features

Landing 3, 4 or 5 of the asp symbols on the reels will see you begin the free spins bonus game with 10, 20 or a whopping 100 free spins, respectively. All prizes in this free spin bonus round are tripled, leading players to countless opportunities to bag decent and valuable wins whilst spinning the reels of this free spins bonus. It does not appear as though you can retrigger this feature, which is a bit of a downer.

The secondary bonus round is far simpler. Players are invited to smash canopic jars and urns to pocket instant cash prizes. Once the collect sign appears, the bonus rounds is effectively over, and all cash prizes will be paid out.
