CATS

Cats Slot Review

Cats is a one of a kind game developed and powered by IGT for fans of the feline genus. It is a five-reel, thirty pay-line slot with multiple coin denominations, instant play with no download required, as well as all kinds of winning features.

About Cats Video Slot

If cute cuddly kitty’s is what you are looking for in an online slot this game is not it. The theme is centred aroundgorgeous illustration of great big wild cats; cats such as lions, tigers, cougar, black panther, cheetah, and paw-print scatter symbols. The balance of icons is made up of the Cats Logo, plus traditional card indices. Ambient sounds are pretty awesome too, but the graphic rendering of this game is something that people who love big cats are really going to enjoy. Winning icons also animate, which could have you purring with pleasure.

Betting Options

With thirty pay-lines to cover, the maximum wager per line is one coin, however, coin denominations range from 1p to £10 so that all types of risk takers are catered for. Either place a minimum bet of 30p, a maximum of £300, or something in between. Land five cats logos on an active pay-line and drop a top prize of 10 000 credits. Do always wager over all thirty lines as this is the best way to win, and we recon £30 is a nice round bet.

Slot Features

There are tons of features in this thirty line game, notably a Cats Free Spins Bonus Round, Split Symbols Feature, Scatter Icons, and a Wild Icon too, which substitutes for other icons. Split Symbols is a trademark of IGT which allows for two instead of only one win, meaning more ways to win for the player. These are the icons which feature two cats instead of one.

One of the best twists in the tail of these tigers is that the Wild Icon can be split too, meaning up to as many as ten of the same symbols can land on the lines. Maximizing wild wins is a fun way to play. Interestingly the top prize is capped at £250,000 so, if the player can afford it, it might pay off to take that £300 high-roller bet.

Land six or more paw-print icons on the lines to enter the free spins bonus round – six of these symbols means ten free spins. Once the free spins bonus game has been triggered, the game moves to another screen, and paw-print scatters are dropped from the reels. While more split symbols and cats icons appear to enhance winning opportunities, free spins cannot be reactivated, but it is altogether a nice bonus game.
