About Book of Madness

Book of Madness is an ideal slot for Halloween. This Gamomat developed game brings blood-splattered characters such as werewolves and murderous zombie nurses to the forefront while remaining light-hearted at the same time. As with most “book slots”, this one uses the tried and tested five-reel and ten-line setup that its counterparts do. As you might expect, it is a touch on the highly volatile side, but prizes are worth up to 5,000x a bet, making the game worth a look all the same. Book of Madness is a touch on the costly side, though, with stakes ranging from a floor of 1.00 (yes, the floor bet is that expensive) up to a ceiling bet of 5,000.00 a stake. While Book of Madness won’t be for the faint of heart (or those who lack decent bankrolls), the game does have a favourable RTP rate of 96.25%.

Special Features

If there is one thing you will have learned from playing book slots before, it is not to expect much when it comes to special features. That is unquestionably the case in Book of Madness. What you’re looking at here is a scatter wild and a free spin bonus. That’s about all there is to write home about in Book of Madness.

The scatter wilds naturally perform the function of both symbols. It can replace any others and trigger a free spin bonus. Wilds appear as book emblems (but, of course), and if these icons pop up in a decent number on the reels, you can end up bagging the same prize as you would do with the top-paying dead nurse symbols.

Get three or more scattered book symbols on the reels, and you’ll win up to 2x up to 200x your bet and trigger Book of Madness’ free games feature.

Bonus Feature

There isn’t much originality here. Book of Madness uses the same setup for its free spin round that most other book slots provide. You’re looking at bagging ten free spins. Before you start spinning, one standard symbol will be chosen at random to become an expanding icon. When it appears on the reels (and assuming it can form a winning combo), it will expand over an entire reel or multiple reels if there is the chance to do that. You can also retrigger the spooky-themed bonus by landing further scatter wilds on the reels.
