BOOK OF AZTEC

About Book of Aztec

Developed by Amatic Industries, Book of Aztec is a very basic slot machine and one which is based on the exploration of the ruins of the Central America civilisation. Book of Aztec uses very primitive and simple graphics on its reels, and there are 5 of those to play on, with 10 lines straddling them. Players are somewhat limited in terms of what they can do with their bets. All 10 paylines are fixed, though wagers range from 0.10 per spin up to 300.00 a game. The top-paying icon in this slot machine game happens to be the explorer icon and landing 5 of her on any active payline will deliver wins worth 5,000 coins to players.

Special Features

Players will note that the scatter icon can trigger a free spin bonus round in this game. It is in the shape of a book. Scatters are also wild symbols in the slot, and these scatter wilds can substitute for all other symbols in the game.

To trigger the free spin bonus, players are going to need to land at least 3 of the book symbols anywhere on the screen. Since they are scatter icons, it doesn’t matter where they fall on the reels of the slot.

The feature which appears in the game will be very familiar to anybody who has tried their hand at the Book of Ra slot before from Novomatic. In fact, aside from the fact that this game is based on the Aztecs, you could rightly consider this game to be a carbon copy version of that more successful and widely available online slot machine game. Just trigger the free spin bonus round, and you will see why.

Bonus Feature

When players land 3 or more book symbols on the reels, they will be able to trigger a free spin bonus round. A total of 10 free spins are handed out to players in this feature. At the start of the free spin bonus round, one symbol will be randomly selected to act as an expanding symbol. This symbol will then expand to fill an entire reel whenever it appears. This symbol cannot be the scatter wild, though, which is disappointing.
