BATTLE ROYAL

Battle Royal is a 5-reel, 20-payline video slot from Play'n GO with a 96% RTP. Its features include free spins, wilds and scatters, with bets from 0.2 to 100 per spin.

About Battle Royal

Play ‘n Go’s Battle Royal is themed on one of English history’s most famous kings, Henry VIII. Henry was famous for having six wives, for divorcing two and executing another two. Battle Royal brings Henry and his not-so-dearly-beloved wives very much to the forefront of the slot world. The game features 5 reels and 20 paylines, and there is an air of comedy about this release. As you might expect, you are not going to be able to alter any of the 20 paylines which appear on the reels of this release, although you can adjust your stakes. This will see total bets ranging from a base minimum of 0.20 per spin up to no more than 100.00 per spin at their costliest. Battle Royal has a reasonable non-progressive jackpot prize, which is worth around 5,000 coins in all.

Special Features

Who else but King Henry VIII was going to be a wild symbol in this game? As a wild, he can predictably substitute himself for all other standard paying symbols and dish out a juicy cash prize when he appears in winning combos.

At any point in the base game, a Royal Flush bonus may be triggered at random. When it is, any low paying symbols which appear on the reels will turn into different icons, potentially offering players a win out of the blue.

The game also contains scatters. Landing these coats of arms symbols on the first and fifth reels will see players get to pick a crest to determine which of the slot’s two bonus rounds they will get to play.

Bonus Feature

One of the bonuses a player may trigger is the free spin bonus. In this round, a player can choose 1 of the 6 wives to be their choice. On each of the round’s free spins, a guillotine slams down on the reels, potentially chopping off the head off one of the wives if they appear on that reel. If their head is lopped off, the symbol becomes wild for the rest of the bonus. If the body is visible on the top row, then the symbol survives and remains. When only one wife survives (and 5 wilds are on the reels), players can select where they would like to place the sixth a final wild.

Should players lose their wife (she gets the chop), they can trigger the Long Live the King bonus, which can also be won via the base game as mentioned. In this feature, players encounter a click and win feature. They must select chests to win cash prizes, and pick a ghost. If the ghost kills Henry, the bonus ends. If it fails to do so, Henry escapes from a dungeon and any prizes you have won are offered a multiplier. The same multiplier is also added to your free spin winnings if you arrived at this bonus via the free spin feature, which is nothing short of incredible.
