About Aztec Temple Treasures
2By2 Gaming’s Aztec Temple Treasures is something of a bizarre release. Aside from featuring bright blue imagery, and an old-school wagering menu that is hardly mobile-friendly, the imagery in this slot doesn’t really match up to its theme, either. For instance, foxes seem almost artic here, rather than the sweaty, humid, jungle symbols we’d normally be looking for. While the imagery is poor, the gameplay isn’t so bad. Aztec Temple Treasure features minimum and maximum bets that are capped at 0.30 and 30.00 a spin, respectively. For that, you can complete to try and win up to 800x, and you’d need five wilds on a payline for this to occur. In terms of paylines, the Aztec Temple Treasures slot begins with a 5x3 reel structure of 30 lines, but this can expand to a 5x6 reel structure of sixty lines later in the game.
Special Features
The colourful mask appears as a wild symbol in Aztec Temple Treasures. This green and gold icon can substitute for all save for scatters, and as we mentioned, it is the best-paying slot icon in the game. At the same time, there is also a scatter symbol in the shape of a sundial. This symbol can dish out scattered cash prizes but will also trigger a free spin round when three or more appear.
There are a few randomly triggered bonuses in Aztec Temple Treasures. The first of these is the Path of the Gods. This sees an Aztec god walk across the reels and drop multiplier wilds on his journey. The Heaven Ascension feature sees the same god drop one or more wild reels on the same trip. Finally, the Mighty God feature sees the same god expand the reels from a 5x3 to a 5x6 interface, effectively giving you sixty lines to bet with.
