Special Features

You will find no shortage of conventional, standard paying symbols on the reels of this slot. Winning combinations formed with three to five of them will be enough to pocket a prize. However, the helmet (and bizarrely, the harp) will result in the best wins in the game.

To help you form those winning combinations, Amazon’s Spear uses a spear as a wild symbol. The titular icon can only appear on Amazon’s Spear’s three central reels but can replace all, save for the game’s scatter. It also appears regularly enough to make it considerably useful in this game. We would reckon that given the frequency of wilds and the regularity of wins, this game falls somewhere between the medium to low variance level in terms of volatility.

Bonus Feature

Amazon’s Spear has another icon worth noting - blue orb scatters. These symbols will deliver scattered cash prizes whenever they appear. However, if you land three or more of them, you will trigger a free spin feature. In this bonus round, you will get fifteen spins to play with. You can extend the longevity of the bonus by landing three or more scatters on the reels once more. The one thing that this free spin round is lacking is something else to ramp up the action. A multiplier or special wild symbol would not have amiss here. However, because neither turn up in the bonus round, we cannot help but feel as though Amazon’s Spear falls a bit flat and will fail to compete with the many other Greek mythology-themed slots out there on the net.
