AGE OF THE GODS: MEDUSA & MONSTERS

About Age of Gods: Medusa and Monsters

Medusa is one of the most famous Monsters from Greek mythology. The Gorgon has taken centre stage in so many slots over the years, but if there was one series where her appearance would be predictable, even necessary, it is in Playtech’s Age of Gods franchise. The Greek mythology progressive jackpot series dedicates an entire game to Medusa, Gorgons, Sirens, and other monsters. Of course, Perseus - the great slayer - also springs up in this six-reel, 164-line game. The bizarre payline structure spices things up, and few will grumble at the 0.50 to 100.00 wagering range, either. As with all these games, you can win a progressive jackpot which is potentially worth hundreds of thousands of credits with a bit of luck.

Special Features

Medusa takes on the mantle of being a wild symbol here. Here, the seductive femme fatale can cover entire reels and substitute for everything save for mirrors. Before we dive into the specifics of the bonus round (in which she plays a major role), we would best have a look at those jackpots because, for many players, they are the reason that they will have a crack at this slot.

As with all Age of Gods slots, Medusa and Monsters’ jackpots are triggered at random. The more you bet here, the greater your chance of activating the round. In the feature, you can select from many different symbols. What you are looking for is three identical jackpot symbols. Matching three will deliver that prize to you. In order of value, they are the Ultimate Power Jackpot, Super Power Jackpot, Extra Power Jackpot and Power Jackpot.

Bonus Feature

Medusa’s Gaze is the title of the free spin round which you can trigger in this slot. To land it, you are going to need three of the shield (mirror) symbols to appear on the second, fourth and six reels. A total of six free games are dished out to players. Now, you must select one of the mirror/shields to find either a Siren, a Cerberus or Minotaur. The selected symbol will lock into place on the reels every time they appear. Meanwhile, stacked Medusa wilds can walk across the reels when they appear. When they hit the monster symbol, the icon is removed from the screen. This acts as a sort of dual free spins and re-spins round.
