About Double Joker Video Poker

Double Joker Power Poker isn’t actually that dissimilar to Microgaming’s Double Joker Power Poker game. The video poker title features somewhat decent graphics for a video poker title, though it is its gameplay which stands out most. Instead of betting on just a single hand, players are able to win with multiple hands in this video poker title.

How to play

To begin playing Double Joker Power Poker, a player must decide which of the five cards initially dealt to them, they wish to keep. Players can click on the cards to decide to hold them. Any cards that they do not keep, will be discarded when the draw button is clicked.

This will then see the held cards transported to the other four hands, located above the first hand. Additional cards will then be drawn and added to the remaining hands, giving you four complete poker hands. These will then be compared to the paytable, and any wins which you have acquired will be paid out.

Players can also use jokers in this video poker game, to substitute for any other cards that they need to land a winning hand.

Wagering and prizes

Before playing, players have the option of deciding how many coins they wish to play with. Players can choose between 1 and 5 coins, although they won’t affect the number of additional hands that appear above the first hand, since you must wager on 5 hands. Coin values range from 0.25 up to 5.00 in this video poker game, meaning that Double Joker Power Poker has minimum and maximum stakes of 1.00 100.00 per hand, respectively.

Players can win pay-outs of 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x their bet for landing A Two Pair, 3 of a Kind, Straight, Flush or Full House. If they win with a Four of a Kind, this pay-out rises to 8x the total bet, whilst pay-outs of 25x and 50x the total bet are available for hands consisting of a Straight Flush or 5 of a Kind. Win with a Joker Royal Flush and you’ll win 100x your bet, whilst a top 500x your bet jackpot is available if you win with a Natural Royal Flush.

Final thoughts

Double Joker Power Poker can be costly, especially since you must wager on all of the 5 hands featured in the game. However, the prizes are far more generous in this video poker game than in many other titles, making its moderately costly wagers more than worthwhile.
